BINDERY

Print binding is the fastening of individual sheets together in order of paper. The person performing this action is called bookbinder. But bookbinder is not only just that also has some other responsibilities. It also involves, for instance, cutting sheets to be printed as required and transferring the printing machine.

Duties of bookbinder include folding and binding forms after printing in succession or is responsible for operations such as wire stitch, embossing, and creasing line.

Bookbinding work has advanced considerably. Thanks to technology, collation of forms, putting covers, cutting, and even packaging are carried out by machines. A bookbinder is like a mirror reflecting the final result after printing.

No matter how perfect the process of printing or quality of paper, it is actually bookbinder that seals the final result’s fate. Imagine a book with inclined binder, embroiled forms, who would like to have such a book?

At this point, the importance of bookbinding, which is the most critical stage of post-printing, is once again revealed.
